What you can expect.
Each of our four rooms contains a queen size bed, a double whirlpool bath, a gas fireplace, a sound system with CD player and MP3/minijack hook up(Turn your IPOD into Our Pod!), air conditioning in the summer, and a refrigerator that is stocked with complimentary waters and soft drinks. Each night's stay includes a bottle of wine (we offer California champagne, pinot noir, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, piesporter riesling, sauvignon blanc,pinot grigio and non alcoholic sparkling pear or cider). Your wine will be served when you check in with a basket of Rita's homemade crackers, cheese and fruit to enjoy with your wine. A four course breakfast is served in the dining room at 9:00 AM (coffee and tea are available at 7:30 ). When you hear the gong you know that breakfast is served. The Rangoon
Cinnamon and gold set the tone of this room. The Rangoon Room is home to a gas fireplace with a stone mantle and a nineteenth century English four poster bed. Carved in teak by Burmese craftsmen, the bed has brass accents and a large frame overhead used to support mosquito netting which was a requirement in the jungles of Burma. The bath features a hand-forged copper sink with waterfall spout and has masks and costumes from exotic Bali, Indonesia. A most relaxing double whirlpool nestles in the room for your comfort.

Named for the famous British Colonial Hotel in Singapore where the Singapore Sling was invented, the Raffles has a queen-sized bamboo canopy bed. The room has a gas fireplace and a sitting area with rattan love-seat and easy chair. The bath includes an antique claw foot tub with shower and marble vanity sink. Raffles features a Balanese corner with double whirlpool in a grotto stone setting with a waterfall fill. Named for the city in Spain where Columbus set off to discover the new world, the Cadiz is decorated with centuries-old hand-carved cathedral doors, a large walnut Spanish armoire and Moroccan carpets. The Cadiz has a bath with shower. A double-sided gas fireplace is nestled between the bedroom and the garden room. The garden room's double whirlpool is surrounded by lush plants and orchids. A private roof top garden awaits you thru the french door of the bedroom . A water garden with fountain soothes away the stresses of life. The bedroom has queen-sized , solid teak Thai-style(i.e. platform )bed and gas fireplace. The Chiang Mai has been remodeled in Jan of 2003 with bamboo and grass cloth wall coverings and new items added to the room. The private bath features a double whirlpool, surrounded by luxurious marble and finished with a jungle theme wallpaper. All this gives an atmosphere of oriental romance,adventure and escape to the Chiang Mai Room.
