30 Years of Memories

The story behind Stillwater's most unique Bed and Breakfast.

Rita and Mike at The Elephant Walk

Where It All Began

Nearly three decades ago, Rita and Mike fell in love with this historic Stillwater property. With a vision to create something more than just a place to sleep, they transformed the house into **The Elephant Walk**—a sanctuary of world-themed decor and heartfelt hospitality.

The name "Elephant Walk" was inspired by a love for travel and the majestic nature of the elephant, symbolizing strength, wisdom, and a long memory. True to its name, thousands of guests have carried memories of their stay here for a lifetime.

The Next Chapter

After 30 years, Rita and Mike have officially retired to enjoy travel and family time with their daughter Sasha and grandsons.

A Message of Gratitude
