During our active years, check-in was strictly between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to ensure each guest received a personal greeting and tour. Check-out time was at 11:00 AM to allow our staff to prepare the rooms to our high standards for incoming guests.
To preserve our historic home and for the comfort of all guests, The Elephant Walk was a 100% smoke-free establishment. This included all guest rooms, common areas, and balconies. Outdoor smoking was permitted in designated garden areas only.
A credit card was required to secure all bookings. Our cancellation policy required at least 14 days' notice for a full refund (minus a small processing fee). Cancellations within 14 days were subject to the full room rate unless we were able to re-book the room.
Due to the historic nature of our furnishings and the quiet atmosphere of the inn, we were generally unable to accommodate pets. Well-behaved children over the age of 12 were welcome in certain suites.
